My name is Sharon Muza, and I am a certified doula with DONA International and PALS, as well as a DONA Approved Doula Trainer.  I am also a birth and family educator for several organizations here in the Seattle area and serve on the faculty at Seattle Midwifery School, teaching the Labor Support Course.

I offer birth doula services that consist of two prenatal meetings, continuous labor support at your birth and two postpartum meetings after the birth.  I am happy to offer a no-obligation “meet and greet” to see if we might be a good fit for each other. I attend births at Seattle area hospitals, birth centers and at your home, wherever you have chosen to birth.

As a birth and lactation educator, I am able to work with you to develop private birth and breastfeeding education classes in the privacy of your home.  These private sessions can be attended by your partner, labor support people and family members, or we can even customize a program for you and other pregnant friends, so that you can share the experience of childbirth education with familiar faces.

My hope as a doula and birth and family educator is to give women a starting point for learning about the power and process of birth and the ability to advocate for themselves before, during and after the birth process.  I provide emotional, physical and information support throughout your pregnancy, while you birth and in the postpartum period.

Please contact me at sharon@newmoonbirth.com or 206.297.6950 or 206.465.1052 so that we may discuss having a doula at your birth or how I can help you with customize a birth education program for your schedule and needs.
